I am so excited to show you the Charlotte’s Dream blanket made by my dear friend Jenny. I cannot tell you how much I love this blanket! We will publish the pattern here on the website next Friday.
Crochet Christmas Light Flowers
These Christmas light flowers are the perfect stash-busting project. Each flower takes less than a meter of yarn and you can use as many (or as few) colours as you like.
Floral Tea Cozy for Little Box of Crochet
My teapot now has a floral tea cozy to keep it warm and happy. There is a little bit of a sentimental story behind this design, so make yourself a cuppa and let me tell you about Christiaan and the first time he made me some tea…
A Baby Blanket for Erin {Featuring ‘Flowers Abound’ Squares by Spincushions}
Today is another ‘Look At What I Made’ moment. I finished this little baby blanket more than six months ago and I love it dearly. It is made using Shelley Husband’s Flowers Abound squares and my Banksia Border.
Charlotte’s Dream: Work in Progress
Charlotte’s Dream is a crochet blanket made up from 12 Charlotte Squares (each in a different colour). This week, we share some sneak peeks. Next week, we will share some photos of the completed blanket, with the pattern following the week after that.
A Touch of Scallop – Crochet Basket Pattern
Crochet baskets are one of my favourite projects, both to create and to use. They are great for stash-busting and useful too!
Charlotte’s Dream: The Yarn
While I have been busy playing around with growing Charlotte, Jenny has created a gorgeous blanket that features 12 Charlottes in striking vintage colours. The pattern for Charlotte’s Dream will be posted on this site on the 28th of October. In the meantime, join us as we look at the yarn and colours we have used for this blanket.
Talking About Crafting, Work, Family, and The Importance of Saying No!
It is not easy balancing work, life, kids, and crafts. Join me as I (self-consciously) discuss how I attempt to do this with Marie Segares from Creative Yarn Entrepreneur.
Banksia Border Crochet Pattern
The Banksia Border is created by alternating solid and lacy sections to resemble Banksia flowers. Framed on either side by a band of back post stitches, it would make a great addition to any blanket. You can also use it to ‘grow’ individual squares.
My Little Froggy Helper
My Little Froggy Helper is the perfect crochet companion. He guards my hook and needles so that I always know where to find them.
