This is Part 1 of the Mary’s Memory Hexagon I designed for my crochet cruise with Crafty Adventures. It is full of gorgeous surface detail.
Mary’s Memory
Mary’s Memory is a large hexagonal crochet motif, designed for the February 2019 crochet cruise with Crafty Adventures. I will be sharing the instructions in three parts over the coming week.
Jeanette at Sunset
Made with two strands of Scheepjes Whirl and one strand of Scheepjes Stonewashed, this blanket is a rainbow celebration of colour.
Jeanette Square Pattern
Jeanette is a lacy square with a bit of surface texture in the form of Popcorns and Bubble stitches. It looks great both in a single colour or multiple colours.
My Voyage Shawl Pattern
The My Voyage Shawl was specifically designed for my 2019 Crochet Cruise with Crafty Adventures. Think of it as a vehicle for cataloguing your own personal voyage by using simple repeats, colours that make your heart sing, and beads for a spot of glamour.
Featured Project: Sophie Cocoon Cardigan by Stephanie Best
At the start of December, I shared my first post celebrating your lookatwhatimade moments. I was delighted with the response to that post and thought it was about time I did another one! So, my second LAWIM Feature is this lovely Sophie Cocoon Cardigan made by Stephanie Best. There isn’t an official pattern for this cardigan (which […]
Sophie’s Dream Pattern
It is with great joy that I present you with the pattern for Sophie’s Dream. Everything about this project makes me so very happy! I hope you’ve got your hooks at the ready!!
Six Degrees of Separation Coaster Pattern
I designed this simple hexagonal coaster to reflect the look and feel of the Ubuntu CAL 2018. It is perfect for using small scraps of yarn, and I think it would make a wonderful motif for a blanket (if you don’t mind all the ends)! I have decided to call it ‘Six Degrees of Separation’, based on the scientific theory that we are all separated by six or fewer degrees (or ‘friend-of-friend’s).
Sophie’s Dream: Reveal
Sophie’s Dream has a very bohemian feel – brights combined with brights to create a riot of colour, all without any of the colour-changing work. This blanket is much more Mrs. Maisel than Charlotte Brontë!
Sophie’s Dream: Work in Progress
So many pretty colours have gone into making Sophie’s Dream a reality. Come and have a little look at our sneak peek :)
