While I have been busy playing around with growing Charlotte, Jenny has created a gorgeous blanket that features 12 Charlottes in striking vintage colours. The pattern for Charlotte’s Dream will be posted on this site on the 28th of October. In the meantime, join us as we look at the yarn and colours we have used for this blanket.
One of the best things about being a Scheepjes Blogger is that I get to play with all the new yarns. I had a ball of a time playing with the colours in the Maxi Bonbon range, and I hope that you find a colourway to suit your personality.
Come and find out all about the last weekend retreat I did with Devon Sun Yarns. It was amazing! What could be better than yarn, cake, and good company?
My Lydia blanket is all done and it is a feast of pinks, greens, and blues. There were a few moments when I wondered if my colour choices would work, but I am so happy with the final blanket.
I have a little confession to make about my latest crochet project. Ever since I first designed the Lydia square, I have wanted to turn it into a Lydia blanket.
I have designed a new large crochet square, using Scheepjes’ brand new Aquarel. I will be posting the pattern in the next couple of weeks.
I am embarking on a new Cotton 8 yarn adventure, diving head-first into the pinks! I must admit that I am slightly out of my comfort zone (but loving it)!
I will be using Scheepjeswol Colour Crafter for my next big project. I love the yarn and am so excited to be using it!
I attended Fiber East on the weekend and it was so much fun. I got to meet some amazing fiber artists (and feed my soul in the process).
I have chosen 6 Scheepjes Stonewashed XL colours for my next (manly) design. I will be sharing a few work-in-progress photos next week.
