Pieter would not leave me alone while I was working on this digger. Now, every time I pick up my crochet hook, he wants to know if I am making another diggerloader. I am hoping, soon, to write this pattern up as well and pop it on Etsy. So far my little blue car has had 53 views. Sadly no sales yet, but here’s hoping :)

The buckets and the arm took a bit of head-scratching and a few attempts, but I am pleased with how it all came out. Watch this space for more chunky crochet toys.

Great pattern Dedri thank you. Still making it and wondering about how to stuff the wheels? Can you help plse? I am thinking that as the wheel crochet is quite open and black that the stuffing will be really obvious.

Hi Tessa, sc inc is an sc increase, which means that you make 2 sc’s in the same stitch.

There is no other way of saying it… You did an Absolutely awesome job! I would love to make it for my father in law since his b-day is this weekend (Grown ups will love it too!)
