Why Crochet Cauliflower and Broccoli?  What would inspire you to write a pattern for these particular vegetables?

My husband and I love Cauliflower cheese and Christiaan makes one MEAN Broccoli Chicken dish.  So I am a little nostalgic about them.  We also have a friend who staunchly refuses to eat broccoli and maintains that he will ban broccoli when he becomes president of the world.  So I wrote this pattern partly out of love for the veg and partly to annoy Mike :)

You will need some double knit yarn (preferably not in shocking pink??) and a 4.5mm crochet hook.  You’ll also need a thimble full of stuffing and a little bit of patience.
