Welcome to Part 3 of Mary’s Memory. In this part, we will turn the bouquets from the last part into a hexagon again. You’ll be pleased to know that it won’t take long at all.
Back when I was still writing the pattern for this motif in January, Inside Crochet sent me a gorgeous bouquet of flowers that instantly transformed one of THOSE days into something I could not only manage but revel in. This unexpected gift and the effect it had on my mindset really made me stop and think about the ways in which small kindnesses can snowball.
This morning, I decided that this part would be about small kindnesses. Let’s start with being kind to ourselves so that we have the energy and presence to be kind to others.

Next week, I will tell you how I grew this motif even bigger using a slightly modified version of the Ubuntu CAL 2018 border.
I hope you have enjoyed making this motif and can’t wait to see what you do with it.

Please note: If you wish the use these hexagons in conjunction with Mary’s Memory, you will need to tweak the patterns so that they have 36 stitches per side.
